Schools: The funny thing about Barton Creek is that the schools are not outstanding. With the caliber of homes that you find in such a lovely neighborhood, you would think the schools would be incredible. But not so. The elementary school here is Oak Hill, which is a good solid school, but certainly not exemplary. O'Henry middle is a great middle school, as public schools go, and Austin High is a good public high school, ranked Acceptable.
